Munchkin Recalls Waterpede Bath Toys for Choking Hazard

Munchkin Inc. has issued a nationwide recall for its Waterpede children’s bath toys after determining the products can pose a choking hazard to small children.

Details of the Munchkin Waterpede Recall

According to the CPSC, the recall affects 72,000 Munchkin Waterpede children’s bath toys that can break apart exposing small parts, posing a choking risk to young children.

Consumers should take the bath toys away from children immediately and contact Munchkin for a free replacement toy of a comparable value.

Recalled units were sold at Babies R Us, Target, and other stores nationwide and online at munchkin.com between September 2015 and January 2018. Individual units were sold for $5 to $8.
