P.F. Chang’s Recalls 190K Pounds of Food

Food Recall

According to Fox News Health, P.F. Chang’s broadened their voluntary recall by adding 190K pounds of frozen food to the recall.

Reason for the P.F. Chang’s Recall

The sugar used by P.F. Chang’s may contain small metal fragments, a few millimeters long. The sugar was used in eight home-brand products.

The original recall was for around 4,000 pounds of food, but was updated with an additional 190,000 pounds Wednesday.

The small metal fragments can potentially cause choking and gastrointestinal problems. Consumers are advised to immediately discard unused portions and return impacted products for a full refund.
