news sign large words

Sherwood Marketing is issuing a recall on approximately 175,000 of their 3 Squares rice and slow cookers over a fire and electrical shock hazard.

About the 3 Squares Rice and Slow Cooker Recall

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the wiring inside the recalled rice and slow cookers can cause an electrical shorting. This shorting poses a shock, electrocution, and fire risk.

There have been three reports concerning the recalled products, in which one cooker sparked when turned on and another turned on by itself. The recalled cooker is linked to one shock injury as well.

Consumers are advised to stop using the product immediately. Owners can visit the 3 Squares website and follow their procedures for receiving a new rice cooker, free of charge.
