Target Recalls Halloween LED Gel Clings due to Choking Hazard

Target is issuing a recall on approiximately 127,000 Halloween-themed LED gel clings because they pose a choking hazard to children.

About the Target Halloween Gel Cling Recall

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recall is due to the gel clings containing parts that could cause a choking hazard.

The gel clings can separate, revealing an inner decal and the button battery compartment. These components, if ingested, can cause a hazard for children.

Consumers should remove the recalled window gel clings from areas near children. They can return the products to any Target store for a refund.

Description of the Recalled Target Gel Clings

The recall affects six Halloween LED gel clings intended for window use only. The products light up and blink when pushed.

Target stores nationwide sold the recalled products between August 2016 and September 2016.
