Samsung has issued a recall for Galaxy Note 7 smartphones after reports of the devices exploding during charging.
According to NorthJersey, the smartphone’s malfunction is due to a battery cell issue and seems to be related to charging the devices. Samsung will replace your Galaxy Note 7 starting next week, or a consumer can exchange them for other models immediately, with a refund for a price difference.
Besides recalling the smartphone, Samsung is also stopping sales of the devices until the issue is resolved.
