Seven-Vehicle Crash Injures Three in East Ridge, Tennessee

The Times Free Press reports that three people were injured after five passenger vehicles and tractor-trailers collided on Interstate 75 Sunday morning.

Details of the Seven-Vehicle Accident

The crash occurred around 1:38 am Sunday near the Interstate 75/Interstate 24 split. One of the victims was struck and thrown over the guardrail after exiting his vehicle.

The identities of those involved in the crash were not released; however, the East Ridge Fire Department did state that one person was possibly in critical condition.

All southbound lanes of the interstate were closed as crews cleared the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
