Strong Industries Employee Killed in Workplace Accident


The Northumberland County Coroner’s Office has ordered an autopsy into the death of a 20-year-old employee who was killed in a workplace accident at Strong Industries Pools and Spas.

Details of the Workers Death

According to the Daily Item, the employee was killed when a 1,200-pound mold was lowered onto him. The accident occurred just before 8 am, and the coroner pronounced the man dead at the scene at 8:50 am.

The name of the deceased has not been released pending the notification of his family in Alabama.

The accident remains under investigation, and an autopsy has been scheduled for Thursday morning.
