Suspected Drunk Driver Arrested after Striking Two Pedestrians with Car

According to WMUR, two pedestrians suffered from injuries after an allegedly drunk driver crashes into them in Nashua, New Hampshire, early Tuesday morning.

Details of the Pedestrian Accident

A man and woman walked in the area of Railroad Square and Clinton Street at around 12:50 a.m. when the accident occurred. Police say 26-year-old Phillip Kannaly collided with the two pedestrians at 28 Railroad Square.

The man received treatment for critical injuries at a Boston hospital, and the female pedestrian sustained serious injuries and received treatment at a local hospital.

Police are currently investigating the cause of the crash, according to WMUR. Officials arrested Kannaly and charged him with aggravated driving while intoxicated and reckless conduct. WMUR reports that police are awaiting the results of an alcohol blood test.
