Target is recalling 30,000 pairs of its Cat & Jacks Girls’ Star Studded Skinny Jeans following reports that metal stars attached to the jeans can detach and pose a laceration hazard.
According to the Consumer Protection Safety Commission (CPSC), there have been six reports of metal stars detaching, five of which involved laceration injuries.
The recalled skinny jeans were sold exclusively through Target in sized 4-18P. Units were distributed between September 2017 and November 2017 for about $18.
Consumers are urged to stop wearing the recalled jeans and return them to any Target for a full refund.
