Texas Authorities Arrest Trucker Wanted in Fatal Montana Hit-and-Run

A Canadian man has been arrested in Texas for a fatal hit-and-run trucking accident that occurred in Montana earlier this month.

Details of the Fatal Crash and Resulting Arrest

According to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Jaroglav Kleberc has been charged with negligent homicide and other crimes after allegedly fleeing the scene of an April 15 crash.

Court documents state that Kleberc was driving a tractor-trailer loaded with lumber when he made an illegal turn into an emergency crossing lane on Interstate 15. The 18-wheeler blocked part of the northbound lanes and was struck by a minivan driven by 72-year-old Marvin Knuston.

Knuston was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Kleberc did not stay at the scene.
