According to the Associated Press, 45-year-old Seven Johnson, of Houston, pleaded guilty in Geary County District Court to one count of second-degree murder and two counts of involuntary manslaughter while driving under the influence.
An investigation concluded that Johnson was driving a large box truck when he crossed the interstate median and struck a passenger car head-on. 26-year-old Jessica Michelle Thompson, 6-year-old Jaydon Allan Thompson, and 5-year-old Leah Michelle Thompson were killed in the collision.
A sentence hearing has been set for June 1.
