Three Dead, Including a Child, in Head-on Collision

According to WESH, a driver with a suspended license caused a fatal crash that claimed his own life and the lives of two others on Sunday afternoon in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.

Details of the Fatal Crash

Debra Irwin, 56, and her grand-daughter, three-year-old Fallon Painter, traveled west on County Road 455 at around 3:45 p.m. when the crash occurred.

James Eric Walker, 22, lost control of his Jaguar car and crashed into the oncoming SUV driven by Irwin near State Road 19.

Irwin and Walker died at the scene of the crash, according to WESH. The three-year-old girl received treatment at Arnold Palmer Hospital but succumbed to her injuries.

Police say Walker had a suspended license dating back to last July, reports WESH.
