Three Killed in Gillette Multi-Vehicle Crash

Three people are dead and others are injured following an eight-vehicle collision in Gillette, Wyoming.

About the Fatal Gillette Accident

According to the Gillette News Record, the crash occurred around 7:30 am Wednesday after Poweder River Transportation bus collided with a line of cars stopped near a construction zone. The vehicles were waiting for a pilot car to lead them through the work area.

Those killed in the collision were occupants of two separate vehicles, but their names, ages, and genders have not been released.

Between three and five others were transported to the Campbell County Memorial Hospital, but officials were not certain of the extent of their injuries.

It is not known why the bus failed to slow down, and authorities are still investigating the accident.
