Three Pedestrians Hospitalized after Hit by Pickup Truck

According to the Quad-City Times, three pedestrians were injured in a collision with a pickup truck in Davenport, Iowa, on Monday evening.

Details of the Pedestrian-Truck Accident

The accident occurred at around 6:24 p.m. local time at the intersection of West 3rd Street and Sturdevant Street. Two females and a male were crossing the street when a Ford pickup truck turned right onto West 3rd.

The Quad-City Times reports that the pickup truck turned into the far lane and did not see them before crashing into the pedestrians. The pedestrians received treatment at Genesis Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police cited the driver of the pickup truck, 19-year-old Jesus Pizano, for improper turn, no insurance, and an expired registration.
