Three-Vehicle Collision Kills One, Injures Two in Gregg County

One person is dead and two others are injured following a three-vehicle crash in Gregg County, Texas.

Details of the Fatal Gregg County Crash

According to KETK, the crash occurred around 5:30 pm Monday when a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2015 Honda Accord collided head on along FM 3053. The Accord was then struck by a 2010 Silverado that was hauling a flatbed trailer.

The driver of the Accord, identified as 37-year-old Marion Collins, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 5-year-old girl traveling with Collins was transported to a hospital in Tyler, Texas where she was listed serious condition.

The driver of the 2013 Silverado, 31-year-old Jason hart, was transported to a Longview hospital and was also listed in serious condition.

The accident remains under investigation.

    • One person was killed in a traffic accident in Texas every 2 hours and 29 minutes.
    • One person was injured every 2 minutes and 8 seconds.
    • A reportable crash occurred every 61 seconds.
