Troy Motorcyclist Killed in Speeding Accident
One man was killed in an accident that happened in Troy on Monday.
Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that 20-year-old Dominic Maiorano was killed as a result of his injuries he sustained in the accident. Emergency first responders from Troy were sent to the 1000 block of Polecat Road after receiving report of an accident and an unresponsive victim. When they arrived at the scene of an accident, an off-duty deputy and an EMT were performing CPR on the victim. The victim was then taken to the Upper Valley medical Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The accident remains under investigation at this time, but preliminary results indicate that speed may have been a primary factor in the accident.
