A three-vehicle truck crash in the heart of Texas’ Eagle Ford Shale region left two drivers dead and one injured on Monday (July 30, 2012).
Details of the Trucking Accident
The San Antonio Express News is reporting that a tractor-trailer veered across the centerline of Texas 72 near Tilden and hit two oncoming heavy trucks Monday morning.
The truck driver who caused the accident and a second truck driver died in the crash. The third truck driver was rushed to a nearby hospital and is being treated for “serious internal injuries.”
The trucks were reportedly part of traffic coming from the Eagle Ford Shale play in McMullen County.
