Two killed in Rural Texas Accident
Two people were killed in a rural Texas accident involving an 18-wheeler and a car.
Details about the Fatal Accident
KWTX News is reporting that the two vehicle crash occurred in Robertson County when Gerald Steward-Dykes, 29, attempted a U-turn and steered into the path of the 18-wheeler that was not able to avoid the vehicle in time.
Steward-Dykes and his son, Jaylan Dykes, 8, were both pronounced dead at the scene of the Texas accident.
Torilynn Thomas, 23, was also in the vehicle and remains in critical condition at the hospital at this time. The driver of the truck, Brian Ritter, 34, was not injured in the accident and was treated and released at the scene.
