A preliminary investigation suggests Montiqua Mosley was attempting to make a turn from Highway 90 onto a private driver when her 2007 Mazda sedan was struck by an 18-wheeler. The crash resulted in the deaths of a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old. Mosley was hospitalized in Bryan and a 6-year-old was transported by helicopter to McLane Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
First responders were forced to shut down both lanes of the highway while the accident was investigated and the scene was cleared of debris. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
