Truck Driver Had Fainting Spell, says Police

A man in a Nissan Sentra was traveling on Route 93 in Sugarloaf Township, Pennsylvania, when he was struck head-on by a semi-truck. The truck continued to push the man in the Nissan for approximately 75 yards against a guardrail, reports the Standard Speaker.

Once the car dislodged, the truck continued to drive for another 75 yards before coming to a complete stop. According to the Standard Speaker, both drivers required hospitalization, but only the driver of the car suffered minor injuries.

Both vehicles had to be towed after sustaining damage during the wreck, causing traffic backups and delays in the area.
