Two Injured, Including Pregnant Woman, in Two-car Collision in Pelham

According to NH1 News, a pregnant woman and 16-year-old male suffer from serious injuries after colliding at an intersection in Pelham, New Hampshire, on Monday afternoon.

Details of Two-car Crash

The 26-year-old pregnant woman was driving a Honda Civic westbound on Tallant Road at around 3:30 p.m. local time when the wreck occurred. As she drove through the intersection at Mammoth Road, the woman smashed into a pickup truck traveling northbound.

Preliminary reports show that the woman failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection before crashing into the 16-year-old’s pickup truck. According to NH1 News, the woman was transported to a medical center with serious injuries, and a passenger in her car was also taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

NH1 News reports that the 16-year-old motorist was also seriously injured in the collision. The weather conditions did not likely play a role in the crash. Officials are still investigating the accident.
