Two Students Dead, One Injured in Fatal Intersection Collision

According to the Pioneer Press, two students were killed and a third was hospitalized after a collision with another car at an intersection in Arden Hills, Minnesota, on Thursday morning.

Details of the Fatal Crash

Three Mounds View High School students drove on County Highway 96 at around 7:00 a.m. local time when the accident occurred. The students attempted to turn left onto Old Highway 10 when they were hit by a car traveling east on County Highway 96.

Two of the students were pronounced dead at the scene, reports the Pioneer Press. The third student was injured and transported to a hospital. The lone occupant of the second vehicle was treated and released at the scene.

It is unknown what caused the fatal crash. School staff said counseling is available at the high school to anyone in the community who needs it, reports the Pioneer Press.

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office and the State Patrol are working on reconstructing the crash scene.
