Two Workers Injured in Allegan County Construction Accident

Two workers were injured Monday morning when they were struck by a piece of machinery that fell at a warehouse in Allegan County, Michigan.

Details of the Allegan County Construction Accident

According to WOOD TV, the accident occurred around 10:10 am at Buckeye Construction in Leighton Township. Reports suggest a long piece of machinery fell at the warehouse, injuring two men.

The workers were transported to Metro Health Hospital by ambulance. Initial reports indicated one of the men was critically injured, but follow-up statements by the Michigan State Police said the workers sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The site of the accident will be investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
