Woman Dies in Five-Car Collision on Interstate 93

According to WMUR, one person was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 93 in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Monday evening.

Impairment Does Not Seem to Be Factor

Police say Scott Roystan, 50, came upon slowed traffic while heading southbound on Interstate 93. Unable to stop his pickup truck, Roystan crashed into several cars, sending one car rolling over into the median.

Cynthia Perkins, 62, the driver of the car, died at the scene of the accident.

According to WMUR, ambulances arrived at the scene but it is unknown whether anyone in the other vehicles involved in the crash received treatment for injuries.

The New Hampshire State Police says the crash is still under investigation, but impaired driving doesn’t seem to be the cause of the accident, reports WMUR.
