Woman Faces Charges after Causing Multi-Car Collision, Several Injuries

According to NBC 10 News, police arrested a woman for drunk driving after she causes a multiple-vehicle collision on Route 10 in Cranston, Rhode Island, on Thursday.

Details of the Injury Accident

Police say 24-year-old Nadine Gamboa crashed into a disabled vehicle, causing two other cars to be hit in the crash at around 2:00 a.m. Thursday. Following the collision, Gamboa exited her vehicle and fled the scene, according to NBC 10 News.

Officials apprehended Gamboa shortly thereafter and placed her under arrest. Gamboa faces charges of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, reports NBC 10 News.

As a result of the wreck, three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment at a hospital.
