Woman Killed after Two-Vehicle Collision

According to several media outlets, a female driver was killed after her car was struck by a pickup truck at an intersection near Needville, Texas.

Accidents have Happened Here Before, say Witnesses

Deputies say the pickup truck was headed southbound on FM 360 when it T-boned the woman’s car as she pulled onto the road. The pickup truck had the right-of-way, and the woman probably didn’t see the truck coming, reports several media sources.

The woman, in her late 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, according to media outlets. The pickup driver was taken to OakBend Medical Center in Richmond, but he did not sustain any major injuries.

According to witnesses, similar accidents have occurred on FM 360, as people are known to travel at high speeds on the road. Media sources report that the accident happened around 7:30 a.m.
