Details about the Fatal Pedestrian Accident

News on 6 News is reporting that a 30-year-old woman was killed in a traffic accident that happened in which she was struck by a vehicle in Tulsa on Wednesday evening, according to police.

Officers from the Tulsa Police Department stated that at approximately 8:50 p.m., they responded to the scene of an accident that happened along the 1100 block of East 11th. Police further stated that a pedestrian, who has been identified as Jamie Cravatt, was hit by a car that was traveling west at the time of the accident.

Cravatt was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

A police investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing, but at this time, there is no evidence that would lead them to believe that the accident was the fault of the driver.
