Worker, 60, Dies after being Pinned between Truck and Trailer

According to The News Tribune, a construction worker was killed on the job after being pinned between two trucks in Tacoma, Washington, on Tuesday.

Details of Workplace Fatality

Lory Reimann, 60, was working with another employee to hook up a trailer to a semi rig at around 7:00 a.m. local time on East 11th Street when the workplace accident occurred. Reimann attempted to hook the trailer but the landing was too low.

The News Tribune reports that Reimann tried to raise the trailer and lower the landing gear when the trailer slipped, pinning him between the truck and trailer. Reimann died at the scene of the accident.

The Department of Labor and Industries is investigating the fatal accident, according to The News Tribune.
