Worker Injured in Hurst Elevator Accident

A man was seriously injured after falling down an elevator shaft in Hurst, Texas on Monday.

About the Hurst Elevator Accident

According to CBS-DFW, emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident around 5 pm. Reports indicate a man was conducting repairs in an elevator shaft when he was struck by a moving elevator.

The man sustained head injuries and was airlifted to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Forth Worth – his condition as not released.

Officials are investigating the incident.
