Ironworker Dies after Accident at Pasadena Job Site
An ironworker died Sunday, July 13, after suffering blunt force injuries in a fall at a Pasadena construction site. An investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is pending.
Details of the Fatal Pasadena Construction Accident
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports that 24-yewar-old Robert Carrasco has succumbed to injuries suffered during a July 9 construction accident.
Carrasco was working at a construction site for a five-story office building at the corner of Colorado Boulevard and El Molina Avenue when he fell 15 feet, sustaining serious blunt force injuries.
Carrasco was rushed to Huntington Hospital in Pasadena where he was listed in severe condition. He was pronounced dead July 13.
An investigation by the California Department of Industrial Relations Division of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is pending.
