Lubbock Man Killed in Cement Mixer Accident

According to EverythingLubbock.com, police, EMS, and fire fighters in Lubbock, Texas responded to an industrial accident on September 2nd, 2016. One man was killed in the accident.

Details of the Cement Mixer Accident

The incident occurred around 8:20 A.M. in the 500 block of 48th Street.

The officials investigating the scene said that a man was either working on or near one of the cement trucks that were in front of one of the houses in the residential area when he somehow got pulled into the truck.

The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Jesus Manuel Solano.

This rate is almost twice the average rate of 6.3 for general industry and is also greater than the rate of 8.2 for construction.
