A worker was killed in a crane accident that happened at a Mosinee plant.
Details about the Fatal Crane Accident
Multiple sources are reporting that Mosinee police have stated that a worker was killed in an industrial accident that happened that involved an overhead crane.
According to local authorities, emergency crews were called to Crystal Finishing Systems just before noon on Tuesday. Mosinee Police Chief Kenneth Muelling has further stated that the 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The identity of the victim has not been released by the authorities at this time.
No other details have been released, but the accident remains under investigation at this time. The plant is privately owned and manufactures aluminum extrusion and fabrication as well as coatings. The company owns several other plants as well in Mosinee, Schofield, and River Falls.
