OSHA Investigates American Fork Construction Accident
Officials have launched an investigation into a crane accident that left one person dead in American Fork last Wednesday.
About the American Fork Crane Accident
The American Fork Fire Department is currently labeling this incident as a workplace accident and hasn’t released any identification of the worker. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is in charge of the investigation.
There were no other injuries reported in connection with the accident.

- In 2014, 4,679 workers were fatally injured while on the job. This averages to roughly 90 deaths a week or more than 13 deaths each day.
