According to reports, the man was doing construction on a stretch of Highway 281 when he fell 70 feet to his death.

- The man was working, as part of a night crew, at a construction site on Highway 281 in San Antonio, Texas.
- He reportedly lost his balance while securing metal planks to the overpass leading from Highway 281 to Loop 1604.
- He lost his footing, and fell (along with a piece of metal) to the highway below. He died on impact.
- The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is currently investigating the incident.
