Worker Killed by Steel Beam in Industrial Accident

According to NBC10, a 57-year-old worker was fatally injured on the job at a steel manufacturer in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, on Monday afternoon.

Details of Fatal Work Injury

The deadly work accident occurred at the Samuel Grossi & Sons steel manufacturing facility located at 2526 State Road at approximately 12:05 p.m. local time.

Officials say the man was working at a welding station when a larger steel beam fell on top of him. NBC10 reports that the man died at the scene of the accident.

It is currently unclear what led to the accident, reports NBC10. The deceased worker’s name has not been released pending the notification of next of kin. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will be investigating the incident.
