Brother and Sister Killed in Horrific Crash on I-35W

A family was involved in a deadly accident on I-35W on their way home from touring the Christmas lights at Texas Motor Speedway. An aunt reported they had been singing Christmas carols just before everything turned to chaos.

Details of the Fatal I-35 Collision

Christmas was spent in mourning for the family and friends of Alexander Trejo, 23, and Gabrielle Estelle, 19, both from Haltom City. The two were killed in a tragic collision last Monday.

The family, including their parents and younger brother, Zach, 17, was on their way home from a Christmas light tour at Texas Motor Speedway when a Ford Explorer slammed into the back of their car.

A GoFundMe page has raised nearly $10,000 to cover funeral expenses.

The accident remains under investigation and no charges have been brought in connection with the collision.
