Bus Driver Found to Have Consumed Alcohol Before Accident

Grant Hill8 months ago

Following the crash of a West Branch ISD bus and a semi, the bus driver, Amber Stubbs, was found to have alcohol in her system, according to KWWL.

The Bus and Truck Collision

The collision occurred in May when Stubbs rear-ended the semi. The bus was severely damaged, but there were no major injuries.

Stubbs took a breath test following the accident and blew a 0.034 blood alcohol content, but she was not arrested, because the legal limit is 0.04. Instead, she was ticketed for tailgating the semi.

It is unknown whether or not Stubbs is still employed by the West Branch School District.
