Bus Driver, Two Students Injured in School Bus Accident

Two students were taken to the hospital after being involved in a bus accident.

Details about the Bus Accident

The Fresno Bee is reporting that a school bus from the Central Unified School District was involved in a three-vehicle accident that happened west of Highway 99 on Tuesday and Injured several people, including two high school students, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A representative from the California Highway Patrol stated that the school bus was approaching Hayes Avenue just before 3 p.m. when a Chevrolet S10 pulled out into the intersection. The bus then hit the truck and caused the truck to hit a third vehicle, a Honda Accord, which was stopped at Shields Avenue.

The driver of the bus, along with two students, both under the age of 18, and all complained of pain and were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. The driver of the Honda was also taken to the hospital, but the driver of the pickup declined treatment.
