Cantaloupe Recall, Possible Salmonella Contamination
DFI Marketing, Inc. is issuing a retroactive recall for cantaloupes distributed between August 27th and September 10th after a routine test found traces of salmonella.
About the Recall
- The cantaloupes were sold in a DFI brand carton with “826 CALIFORNIA WESTSIDE” printed in black.
- The cantaloupes were sold in: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Mexico.
- Because of the expiration date, it is unlikely that the cantaloupes are still in distribution. However, if you suspect you have purchased or consumed the product, you can contact DFI Marketing at 1-559-449-0244.
