West Boylston Car Wash Worker Hurt On the Job

A car wash worker was injured on the job after he was hit and dragged by a car on site.

Details about the On-the-Job Injury

According to CBS Local in Boston, an employee was dragged by a car at a car wash in West Boylston after he was hit and dragged by a customer’s vehicle.

Firefighters and emergency crews were called to the scene inside the bay of Ernie’s Car Wash on Thursday at around noon. Apparently, the car somehow jumped off the track and dragged the employee underneath the vehicle before it hit another vehicle that was already inside the tunnel.

According to the West Boylston Police Department, the attendant that was dragged under the car was transported to an area hospital.

The electricity to the business was shut off so that the cars could be removed from the tunnel.
