Carbon Monoxide Hazard Forces Kubota Recall

Kubota has issued a recall and a warning on one of its 4×4 off-road utility vehicles, due to a danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. The Kubota RTV500 can accumulate carbon monoxide in the cab while it is idling and not moving.

Recall Details

  • The recalled model has “Kubota RTV500” printed on the side, and comes in orange and camouflage colors.
  • The RTV500 was sold from September 2008 through April 2012 for about $13,000.
  • Contact Kubota at (800) 752-0290 to schedule a free repair of the vehicle.
