Chain-Reaction Accident Sends 18 to Local Hospital

Three crashes on I-35 sent 18 people to a Waco hospital on November 30, according to KWTX.

About the Chain-Reaction Collisions

A total of 14 vehicles were involved in the collisions, with the first accident being reported shortly after 3 p.m. on I-35 south of the Sun Valley Blvd. exit.

Reports indicate an 18-wheeler hauling a bulldozer rear-ended a sedan, resulting in slowed traffic. At least two other pile-ups occurred involving three more tractor-trailers.

Two injured persons had to be extracted from their vehicles; fortunately, not victims sustained life-threatening injuries.
