Chick-Fil-A Issues a Recall for Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Kaitlynn Martin7 months ago

Popular fast-food chain Chick-Fil-A announces a recall for one type of their cookies due to containment of undeclared peanuts.

About the Cookie Recall

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Chick-Fil-A’s Chocolate Chunk cookies, made by CSM Bakery Solutions, may contain undeclared peanuts.  This can cause serious or even life-threatening allergic reactions for people with nut allergies.

Post-production testing revealed peanut particles in the flour, which lead to Chick-Fil-A recalling the cookies, according to the FDA.  The products claimed to be peanut-free.

Anyone who purchased this product can return it to Chick-Fil-A to receive a refund.
