Over 55,000 child seat harnesses have been recalled due to a possible choking hazard.
About the Recall
According to safercar.gov, Britax is recalling over 55,000 convertible child restraints. If a child bites off a piece of the softer pad, it can be a choking hazard and cause injury or death.
Description of Recalled Child Seat Harness
- Child seats were manufactured by Britax Child Safety, Inc.
- Seats were sold from June 11, 2012 – August 31, 2012.
- The harnesses were sold under 3 different brand names and several model numbers, including:
- Britax/ Advocate 70 G3
- Britax/ Boulevard 70 G3
- Britax/ Pavillion 70 G3
