Tina Robinson3 years ago

A recent report from WPBF ABC 5 news says five children were injured in a four-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon in Palm Springs, FL.

Details of the Four-Car Accident

  • Authorities say a red Toyota carrying four children was turning right on South Congress Avenue and was in the process of moving to the far left lane.
  • A gray Buick crashed into the back of the Toyota and sent both vehicles over the median.
  • The vehicles then crashed into a van and another Toyota.

All of the children in the red Toyota were under the age of five. Three of the children sustained minor injuries; the fourth child is listed in critical condition.

The other Toyota involved in the crash was driven by a mother with her one-month-old infant. Witnesses said the mother was “screaming and crying that she was in pain” and frantic about possible injuries to her baby.

The driver of the Buick, who is believed to be at fault for the collision, was also seriously hurt. Police have said they believe the man to have been intoxicated at the time. No charges have been filed yet in connection with the accident.
