Chrysler recently announced a recall affecting approximately 780,000 minivans due to a potential fire hazard, according to USA Today.

Details of the Chrysler Minivan Recall

According to Chrysler, the power window switches can overheat or catch fire if they come into contact with moisture from spilled beverages, rain, and other sources. The company has acknowledged 36 incidents associated with the switches, including some instances of fires contained within the vehicles’ door. In lieu of potential safety concerns, drivers can begin taking their vehicle to dealers on May 15 to have the switches deactivated.
