Chrysler Recalls 2011-2014 Dodge Chargers – Airbag Defect

adriana_trevino1 year ago

Fiat Chrysler has recalled 322,000 of their 2011-2014 Dodge Charger sedans due to impact sensor sensitivities that could result in sudden airbag deployments. The defect can cause serious auto accidents and injuries.

About the Chrysler Dodge Charger Recall

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Fiat Chrysler has recalled their 2011-2014 model-year Dodge Chargers.

Because of the highly sensitive impact sensor calibration, inflatable side curtains and seat airbags may unexpectedly deploy while driving causing the driver to become distracted. This is a serious hazard for the driver and surrounding drivers in the vicinity.

In July, 844,000 Dodge pickup trucks were recalled due to the same issues.
