Columbus Grove Man Killed in Truck Accident

A 52-year-old man was fatally injured Sunday when an 18-wheeler collided with an ambulance near Mansfield, Ohio.

About the Ohio Trucking Accident

According to The Courier, the Columbus Grove man died after his tractor-trailer struck an ambulance and exploded. The man was identified as 52-year-old Anthony Fuerst.

The accident occurred while the ambulance with active overhead lights was Fuerst’s. The initial impact caused Faust’s truck to swerved off the road and veered to the other side, catching on fire.

Police Captain Scott said they were unable to rescue the driver after the tank exploded.
