Construction Worker Dies After Falling from San Antonio Highway
A construction worker fell off a bridge while doing his job, at the Texas 151 to Loop 410 connection in West San Antonio on Wednesday.
About the Fatal Construction Accident
According to the San Antonio Express-News, a man was working on the connector from eastbound 151 to northbound 410 when he fell. The incident occurred around 2:00 pm.
San Antonio officials added that the cause of the accident is still unknown.
Yet, based on where the worker landed, it is estimated he fell approximately 30 feet. It is being investigated if the man was hooked properly to the bridge.
The man was working with Williams Brothers Construction Company, Inc. which had been contracted by the Texas Department of Transportation for the project.
