Contractor Killed in Construction Accident
The Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration (IOSHA) is investigating the death of 55-year-old subcontractor who died in a construction accident Wednesday (April 11, 2012).
Work Accident Remains Under Investigation
According to reports, the subcontractor was working at a pool construction site when the accident occurred. A materials truck was preparing to off-load concrete into the pool area when the ground gave way, causing the truck to flip and land on the subcontractor.
The driver of the truck tested negative for drugs and alcohol; the case is still under investigation.
